General objective of the project is to contribute to the integration of the younger generation – middle school and high school pupils, in the society based on knowledge by encouraging them to participate in innovative activities and to choose a career in science and technology field, that are very important for the economic, social and of environment situation in the border region, thus leading to a sustainable society.
Specific Objectives:
Development of a cross-border club of science and technology for students in secondary education cycle in the border region, to improve the ability of teachers to influence career orientation towards science and technology of students through active involvement in extracurricular technical activities and facilitate crossborder interaction and exchange of ideas among teachers and students.
Target Groups:
30 teachers in Iasi, Soroca County and Odessa region who will participate in courses on methods of stimulating technical and science orientation and 60 students of secondary education in the county of Iasi, Soroca County and Odessa region, which will take part in joint educational activities for young people, enhancing their interest for science and technology.
Expected results:

1. Infrastructure and required resources for the project to be implemented and promoted;

2. Science and technology Club for students in the concerned border area;

3. 30 teachers trained in order to improve formal and informal methods that stimulate students’ interest for science and technology;

4. Best practice guide for teachers, methods to stimulate student interest in science and technology;

5. Students from the border area to target key competences in science and technology;

6. Secondary school students in the border area target actively engaged in scientific and technological activities.
