General Objective:
Enhancing cooperation among young people in the Romania-Moldova-Ukraine border area, through joint activities to develop skills training services for life-skills to children and youth.
Through the project, children and young people of all sides of the border will acquire theoretical knowledge regarding the importance and the use of life-skills during quotidian activities.
Specific Objective:
- Formation and strengthening of life-skills of children in the border area
- Training responsible behavior on the basis of knowledge and compliance of life-skills to prepare young-children for life; -to evaluate the gaps and the necessity regarding life-skills in order to act to cover these gaps;
- Training specialists from NGOs and public institutions in developing life skills programs to children and youth;
- Increasing the involvement of children and young people in border areas by attracting them and their active participation in the community life to which they belong.
Thus the project will support young people in obtaining autonomy and independence, in raising awareness of young people on how to manage their personnal life in achiving the success.
The architecture of the project offers the oportunity to increase group cohesion and improving relations between young people from cross border area.
At the end of the project, students, as main target group, will be able to:
- to operate with the concept of life skills;
- identify the types of life skills;
- use appropriate methods to identify skills development needs of life in children and young people;
- describe the different behavior in terms of life skills;
- explain, using a theoretical model, development of life skills to a target group of children or young people;
- use various methods to develop life skills in children and young people;
- to use different methods of assessment of life skills in children and young people;
- to complete a detailed project to develop a life skills to a specific group of children and young people.
Target group:
- 450 students (150 of each country)
- 45 teachers (15 of each country)
